Sasha George is a one of a kind Author! From her unique writing style to her fresh outlook on the old vampire tale, this book series is a must read! There was not a single aspect of this first book in the series, A Vampires Remorse, that I didn't find completely intriguing. I loved the depth of each character's story and the emotional connection I felt with every personality. I just simply couldn't put this book down. I'm so glad that I came across these at the time period I did and was able to buy book one and two at the same time, as I don't have the anticipation of waiting for volume 2 to be released! Now I can buy 3 and 4 and hope that volume 5 is complete by the time I finish! Now if that isn't enough for those of you with the fine arts at heart, then just feast your eyes on the fantastic art work that Sasha George does for her own book cover's! It is phenomenal! You may have read several books about vampires before but you've never read one like this! This very creative writer takes you on a journey of a different kind with this book; you won't want to put it down. Also note that the author (Sasha George) is the creator of the cover art as well; very talented artist in many ways. Give this book a read and you'll be anxiously waiting for the next one!
Having been a fan of the monster genre since I first saw the universal monster classics it was refreshing to see a blending of the "romanticized" vampire with the traditional "feral" vampire in this book. The characters are fleshed out well, the stories intriguing, and the writing style, for my mind, was like reading a movie and letting the visuals play out in my mind. It's also good to see non traditional art attached to the book as well.
The ensemble of characters is great and this is an intriguing first book for a Series ) Well rounded characters give one a mental vision of the different unique characters involved while leading to the opening for the next book and stirring anticipation in continuing on! If you like Vampire stories and want to delve into the persona's of those kissed by immortal darkness, this is a definite must read!
Sasha George not only is an excellent writer, but an amazing storyteller with ideas and creations that go far above and beyond the typical supernatural realm. Typical supernatural realm; meaning your basic vampire stories where most of all the plots are the same, or the characters are the same, or the climaxes are the same. Not with Sasha George. She takes vampires to a whole other level, adding depth, creativity, and most importantly, unusual plots not found in anything else. What I also truly love about Sasha George is her art! Unlike most authors who pay to get their art done by someone else, Sasha George creates her OWN ART for the sake of being purely original and outstanding. What she sees in her imagination, she designs on the covers of every book she has written thus far. And THAT is what makes her one of the most unique authors I have ever read. Read Sasha George. This book is awesome! Sasha George is a great writer and delves into the vampire realm with a different light. I loved this book and can't wait to read the second one!!
It's a great book with real vampires, not that teen angst sparkly crap. I really enjoyed it and suggest the read if any one likes a book about real vampires.
